The bitter irony of the winds only starting to blow as they’re leaving the place...the town lighting up in the background as they’re driving away was a pretty haunting piece of imagery.

Blaze It • 1 year ago

Especially since Rollo was supposed to be the sacrifice so the wind comes back. It's as if a some sort of being actually existed and responded to Rollo's death.

Bloodyraven54 • 1 year ago

yea its as if a god really does exist but he's is very cruel

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

It was down right creepy at that moment.

Bloodyraven54 • 1 year ago

Dotone • 1 year ago

And imagine Vash on steroids, his body is durable to be shamed multiple times.

Tiger31486 • 1 year ago

I'm guessing the STARS reference just went over your head

Billy Bob • 1 year ago

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

anime

Dotone • 1 year ago

plot

Birchbeer • 1 year ago

I think Vash has like a soccer mom body, In this new get up

Dotone • 1 year ago

You’re onto something, but I don’t know about a mom body.

That’s actually funny.

Blaze It • 1 year ago

I'm very curious where this adaptaion is gonna go. So far it's a blast and the story is also very good even tho many changes have been made compared to the source material.

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

that show was not like the manga either people need to stop acting like that show is the original :) if this show gets more seasons then finally some later manga will get some sort of adaption haha

dianna/kihel • 1 year ago

sorry for rollo being a nemesis project,

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

wait are you the person who did it

Shiny Bidoof • 1 year ago

i like the direction is taken at the moment, too much different than the old version but i started to watch it like just other anime

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

yup image if people looked at ever Scooby Doo , Transformers an TMNT show an went its not like the old boo booo
we would have nothing

broodo aka Dorian Brooks • 1 year ago

Except that every remake of Scooby Doo after a Pup named Scooby Doo is..... not very good to say the least. Different target audience I guess

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

what how does that make any sense

broodo aka Dorian Brooks • 1 year ago

I was being sarcastic. Because the very 1st Scooby Doo series was not aimed at children & was a hindsight commentary on the Great Depression. Then it slowly started morphing.

Also thinking of it as a reboot when then title was updated wasn't a thing back. Folks weren't running around comparin '69 SD to '72 SD to '79 or '83 SD series.

Basically I'm on your side with each iteration should be based on it own merits, though I do like to compare how they've updated or do a retreatment based on Trigun/Trigun:Maximum (manga. not anime)

stop being a dick

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

yeah am only saying theirs a difference from comparing parts of shows for their ups an downs and just saying one show is worthless an enjoying it is dumb
hehe we know cheap horror movies are shit technically but dam some are more fun then others

broodo aka Dorian Brooks • 1 year ago

I don't have any horror movies on me, but just for that now I'm gonna drink a 6 pack of beer & watch some 1950 to 1960 Showa Era Godzilla movies.

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

lookup scenes of movies like Blood Rage without watching the full movie its a surreal vibe

broodo aka Dorian Brooks • 1 year ago

Notated good, sir.
: scribbles on note app :

Birchbeer • 1 year ago

This show is shit. On it's own. Don't even need to compare it to what it is "based" on. How hilarious is that too, " Just don't compare it to the thing it is based on! Then you'll like it!" Like something out of a horror movie, Invasion of the Brainslugs.

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

geez when you hate everything for not being like another version of it is how we get nothing new out of a concept we enjoyed and how the hell is this show bad I have seen tons of shows doing things like this far worse and even they have their goods

Guest • 1 year ago
SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

you said its crazy not to too not compare them an thats what brainslub humans do which looks like your putting words in my mouth as well when I mean that comparing stuff is fine I like some parts of old FMA over the new one too but saying one is full on shit with or without the other version is stupid

broodo aka Dorian Brooks • 1 year ago

Look at it's profile. Either a bot or 12th account

Birchbeer • 1 year ago

12th account. I only comment when I hate something enough. Otherwise I don't read comments on this site. they're all pretty mid fr fr

Reemus • 1 year ago

Meaningless hate is nothing to be proud of, and you seem to be unable to formulate proper sentences to voice your criticisms... so please make that 12th account your final. Or seek help. Seek it anyway.

Birchbeer • 1 year ago

Sorry bruh. It just felt that way. Like you're saying compare it to FMA! not Trigun! or "various" other anime doing "the same thing" "worse".

GreenTea Gal • 1 year ago

i remember when this used to be a comedy :(

Maverick • 1 year ago

today's animators aren't maybe into long-running anime like in the 80's until early 2000's. I noticed this before and though why today's anime genre are now only done in 12-25 ep per season. Animation, as we know, is costly just like in the 30's but different. Which is why long-running ones have become fewer. Another what I see is the experimenting with CGI in further improving its quality when animated

Jamal Pollack • 1 year ago

it has little to do with the animators, they are literally just artists for hire. theses decisions are made by the producers and broadcasters. and their decisions is purely based off of statistics which are based off of the audience. why would a company invest a ton of money into 72 episode if their is no promise that the audience will like it. this is why they do 12 episode series for most originals and 20-25 for series that have promise.

Optimus Prime • 1 year ago

i always remember it like this, mixes of comedy and sorrow

GreenTea Gal • 1 year ago

yea i member. this version is just way more serious and sooner

Ethan • 1 year ago

I would say too serious and too soon. Makes me consider dropping the show because I have such a hard time getting through the episodes.
